Our SEO Process · No black box · No vague retainers

Our SEO process: audit, fix, build, grow. In that order.

Most agencies sell a vague retainer with monthly "SEO work" you can't audit. We don't. Our 4-stage process is documented, scoped, and measured per stage — Audit (find what's broken), Fix (ship the wins), Build (compound the foundation), Grow (scale what's working). You always know what we're doing, why, and what it's expected to move.

Why most SEO retainers feel like a black box

You pay €2k a month. You can't tell what they actually do.

Most SEO retainers are sold as "ongoing optimisation" with vague monthly reports — keywords moved up, keywords moved down, "we built some links". You can't audit it. You can't replace your provider without losing context. You can't tell what's working from what's noise. We sell something different — a documented 4-stage process where each stage has deliverables, expected outcomes, and a clear handover point. Audit is audit. Fix is fix. You always know which stage you're in.

Your current agency sends a 20-page monthly report. Half of it is screenshots from tools. None of it tells you what they actually shipped.

You're 8 months in and you can't tell what's been done. The retainer keeps renewing. Rankings haven't moved.

You want to switch providers but you don't know what state the site is in or what work has actually been completed.

Every stand-up call sounds the same — "we're working on the technical fixes" — and nothing ever ships.

You've been told "SEO takes 6 months" for 18 months. You're not sure if that's an industry truth or an excuse.

The order of work is unclear — content first, technical first, links first? Nobody's mapped which work depends on what.

You paid for backlinks before fixing a single technical issue. The links amplified a broken foundation.

The relationship is built on monthly retainer renewals. The agency has no incentive to finish anything — only to keep work in progress.

You can't tell whether the engagement is going well or badly. There's no defined outcome per stage to compare against.

Proof · A documented process changes the conversation

A defined process is auditable, replaceable, and outcome-checkable.

When the work is staged and documented, the conversation changes. We're not in a vague retainer — we're either in Stage 2 (Fix) or we're not. Stage 2 either shipped its 14 fixes or it didn't. Stage 3 (Build) either delivered its content + link velocity or it didn't. The retainer renews because the work is moving — not because the relationship has inertia.

The 4 stages · What's actually in each one

The Webjuice 4-stage SEO process.

Every engagement runs through these four stages in order. The output of one stage is the input of the next. You always know which stage you're in and what we're working on.

Stage 1 — Audit Find what's broken

2–4 week deep audit across 6 layers — technical, on-page, content, backlinks, local, AI search. Output: a prioritised fix list with effort and impact estimates per item. Every engagement starts here. We don't ship a single optimisation before the audit is done.

Start with the free snapshot →

Stage 2 — Fix

4–12 weeks shipping the highest-leverage findings from the audit. Technical foundation, on-page optimisation, schema rollout, indexation cleanup, redirect-chain fixes, Core Web Vitals work. We ship — not document — until the foundation is bulletproof.

TechnicalOn-pageSchema

Stage 3 — Build

4–9 months building the layers that compound — content (clusters, comparisons, listicles), backlinks (digital PR + outreach + citations), local (GBP, citations, reviews, suburb pages), AI search (entity + Bing + forum signals).

ContentLinksLocal

Stage 4 — Grow

9+ months scaling what's working. New content territories, AI search expansion, experiment loops, multi-channel integration with paid + email + social. The compounding stage where small adjustments create outsized returns.

Per-stage measurement

Each stage has its own KPIs. Audit: findings shipped. Fix: technical health score, indexation rate, Core Web Vitals pass rate. Build: content published, links acquired, ranking distribution. Grow: organic revenue, lead volume, multi-channel attribution.

KPIsReportingOutcomes

Communication cadence

Weekly Slack or email update inside Stage 2. Bi-weekly in Stage 3. Monthly in Stage 4. Always: a clear answer to "what shipped, what's next, what's it expected to move". No 20-page reports of tool screenshots.

Clean handover always available

Because each stage is documented, the work is portable. If you ever bring SEO in-house or change agencies, every audit, fix log, content brief, link record, and KPI report is exportable. No hostage retainers.

Engagement funnel · Simple by design

Start with a free snapshot. We’ll tell you which stage you’re in.

The 4 stages above describe how we work. The funnel below describes how you engage. Start with the free snapshot, then we recommend either a focused fix, a Growth Matrix rebuild if the foundation is weak, or monthly growth — only when continued investment is likely to be worth it.

Step 1

Free SEO + AI Search Snapshot

We check the current website, Google visibility, local SEO foundation, tracking, competitors, and whether the site is ready to grow.

Step 2

Webjuice Growth Matrix

If the website is the problem, we rebuild the foundation with faster pages, stronger service/location structure, GBP alignment, schema, FAQs, tracking, redirects, and conversion-focused pages.

Step 3

Monthly Growth

After the foundation is fixed, we can grow it with SEO Care, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or a combined Growth Plan.

Engagement path · Snapshot first

The next step is simple: see where you are, then move.

Most businesses do not need a monthly retainer first. We check what is blocking rankings, calls, and leads, then recommend the right next step: a focused SEO fix, a Growth Matrix rebuild, or monthly growth (SEO Care, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or a combined plan) if the foundation is already strong.

5★ from businesses that saw the process work.

Before, we barely showed up on Google Maps and our website wasn't bringing in customers. A friend referred us to Webjuice and they delivered real results fast. Professional, supportive, and very affordable. Highly recommend to any business that wants better local visibility and more enquiries.

Process FAQ

Our SEO process, answered honestly.

The questions Dublin and Irish businesses ask before signing on.

Do I have to do all 4 stages?
No. Some clients do Stage 1 only and ship the fixes themselves. Some do Stage 1 + 2 to build a clean foundation and then move to in-house. Most do all four because the work compounds — but you're never locked in.
How long does each stage take?
Stage 1 (Audit): 2–4 weeks. Stage 2 (Fix): 4–12 weeks depending on site size. Stage 3 (Build): 4–9 months for compounding to show. Stage 4 (Grow): ongoing. We run them sequentially because the output of one stage is the input of the next.
Can I start at Stage 3?
Only if Stages 1 and 2 are clean. We see this rarely — usually a client says "we already did the technical work" and an audit finds 14 critical issues. We'll always run a quick audit even on clients who think they're past it, so we know what we're amplifying.
What if my budget is small?
Start with the free snapshot. We'll tell you honestly what stage you're in and what the highest-leverage work is. For very small budgets we recommend doing the audit, getting a developer to ship Stage 2 in-house, then engaging us for Stage 3 onwards.
How do you measure progress per stage?
Stage 1: findings count + severity ranking. Stage 2: tech health score + Core Web Vitals + indexation rate. Stage 3: content published, links acquired, ranking distribution shift, organic traffic, lead volume. Stage 4: organic revenue, multi-channel attribution, AI citation rate.
Can I switch agencies during a stage?
Yes. Because the work is documented per stage, every audit, fix log, content brief, and KPI report is portable. No hostage retainers, no proprietary frameworks designed to lock you in.
How is communication handled?
Weekly Slack or email updates in Stage 2 (when we're shipping fixes fast). Bi-weekly in Stage 3. Monthly in Stage 4. Always: clear answer to "what shipped, what's next, what's it expected to move". No 20-page reports of tool screenshots.
How does pricing work?
Start with the free SEO + AI Search Snapshot. We review the website, Google visibility, AI search readiness, tracking and ad readiness, then recommend the next step: a focused SEO fix, a Webjuice Growth Matrix rebuild if the foundation is weak, or monthly growth (SEO Care, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or a combined plan). We scope cost after the snapshot, not from a price list.
