Technical SEO Dublin · The foundation everything ranks on

Technical SEO Dublin: fix the foundation Google ranks on.

No content campaign survives a broken technical foundation. We audit and fix the things Google actually checks first — crawl, index, Core Web Vitals, schema, JavaScript rendering, redirects, internal linking. If the foundation isn't right, every euro you spend on content and links is leaking.

Why your rankings have plateaued

You're publishing content. You're building links. Nothing's moving.

In nine cases out of ten the bottleneck isn't the content — it's the technical foundation. Google can't crawl what's gated behind JavaScript. It won't rank what loads in 6 seconds. It deprioritises what isn't internally linked. Most Irish sites have three or four technical issues quietly capping every page on the domain.

Core Web Vitals are failing — LCP over 2.5s, INP over 200ms, layout shift on every page. Google deprioritises every URL on the domain.

Half your pages aren't indexed. Search Console says "Crawled — currently not indexed" and you don't know why.

Your site is JavaScript-rendered and Googlebot can't see half the content. The page loads fine for users; Google sees a blank shell.

Schema is missing or broken — no Organization, no LocalBusiness, no Product, no Article. The rich result eligibility is gone.

Old redirects are stacked five-deep. 301 → 301 → 302 → 301 → 200. PageRank is leaking on every chain.

Hundreds of orphan pages have zero internal links. Google sees them as low priority and they stop being crawled.

Mobile rendering breaks. Tap targets are too close, text is unreadable, the layout shifts twice during load. Mobile-first index penalises you.

Crawl budget is wasted on faceted-search URLs, parameter clutter, and infinite calendar pages. Important pages don't get crawled often enough.

Images are 4MB unoptimised JPEGs. Every page weighs 8MB. Mobile users on 4G are bouncing before the LCP element paints.

Proof · Technical SEO is the multiplier

Technical SEO doesn't get you ranking. It uncaps everything else.

Content + links + technical health is the formula. Get the technical work right and the same content suddenly ranks. Skip the technical work and the same content stays buried no matter how much you publish. We've seen sites jump 30+ positions inside 30 days from a clean technical pass — without writing a single new word.

  • Core Web Vitals — LCP, INP, CLS engineered to pass
  • Crawl + index hygiene — robots, canonicals, sitemap, status codes
  • JavaScript SEO — SSR, prerender, hydration audits
  • Schema coverage — Organisation, LocalBusiness, Product, Article, FAQ
  • Internal linking — orphan recovery + topical clustering

Technical SEO services · What's actually included

A complete technical SEO system.

Technical SEO is six work streams: crawl + index, Core Web Vitals, JavaScript rendering, schema, redirects + status codes, and site architecture. We do all six and we measure every change against log files and Search Console data — not vibes.

Core Web Vitals engineering The foundation

The single biggest technical lever Google publicly ranks on. We engineer LCP under 2.5s, INP under 200ms, and CLS under 0.1 across the templates that matter. Image strategy, font loading, render-blocking resources, third-party script audit, hydration cost, edge caching — every input that touches the score, fixed in priority order.

Crawl + index hygiene

Robots.txt, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, status codes, redirect chains, parameter handling, faceted-search noindex strategy. Every URL on the domain has a single, deliberate state — indexable or not, and Google knows which.

Robots.txtSitemapsCanonicals

JavaScript SEO + rendering

SSR, prerender, hybrid rendering audits. We render every template the way Googlebot does, compare to the user-rendered DOM, and flag content that's invisible to the crawler. React, Vue, Next, Nuxt, Astro — same rules, different fixes.

SSRPrerenderHybrid

Schema + structured data

Full JSON-LD coverage — Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, Product, Article, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList. Validated, monitored, and aligned with the rendered content so rich results stay eligible.

Site architecture + internal linking

Topical clusters, hub-and-spoke linking, orphan-page recovery, breadcrumb logic, pagination strategy. The internal-link graph is one of the strongest signals you control directly — we engineer it on purpose.

Log file analysis

Server logs show what Googlebot actually crawls — frequency, depth, status codes, wasted budget. We pull 30 days of logs, segment by bot, and surface the templates that aren't getting attention. Then we fix the architecture causing it.

Crawl BudgetBot BehaviourLog Parsing

Migrations + redirects

CMS migrations, domain changes, HTTPS roll-outs, URL restructures. We map every legacy URL to its 1:1 destination, flatten redirect chains, monitor traffic + rankings through cut-over, and keep the equity intact. The work that destroys most rebuilds, done properly.

If the website is the problem, we rebuild the foundation with faster pages, stronger service/location structure, GBP alignment, schema, FAQs, tracking, redirects, and conversion-focused pages.

Step 3

Monthly Growth

After the foundation is fixed, we can grow it with SEO Care, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or a combined Growth Plan.

The next step is simple: fix the foundation, then grow.

Most businesses do not need a monthly retainer first. We check what is blocking rankings, calls, and leads, then recommend the right next step: a focused SEO fix, a Growth Matrix rebuild, or monthly growth if the foundation is already strong.

5★ from businesses we've fixed under the hood.

Before, we barely showed up on Google Maps and our website wasn't bringing in customers. A friend referred us to Webjuice and they delivered real results fast. Professional, supportive, and very affordable. Highly recommend to any business that wants better local visibility and more enquiries.

Technical SEO FAQ

Technical SEO, answered honestly.

The questions Dublin and Irish businesses ask before investing in technical SEO.

What is technical SEO?
Technical SEO is the work that makes a website crawlable, indexable, fast, and structurally sound — the foundation Google ranks on before content and links matter. It covers crawl + index hygiene, Core Web Vitals, schema, JavaScript rendering, redirects, internal linking, and site architecture.
How is technical SEO different from on-page SEO?
On-page SEO is what's on the page — title, headings, content, internal links from that page. Technical SEO is how the page is delivered — render speed, crawlability, status codes, schema, indexation rules. You need both, but technical SEO is upstream — it determines whether the on-page work even gets seen.
Will technical SEO alone get me ranking?
Rarely. Technical SEO uncaps the rest of the work. Content, links, and on-page still need to happen. What technical SEO does is make sure that work isn't being thrown away because Google can't crawl, index, or render the site properly. For teams that already have execution capacity but need senior judgement on what to prioritise next, our SEO consultant Dublin engagements pair strategic direction with the technical foundation.
How long until I see results from technical fixes?
Some fixes move rankings within 2–4 weeks (canonicalisation, indexation cleanup, schema). Others take 8–12 weeks to compound (Core Web Vitals, internal linking restructure, log-file driven crawl-budget reallocation). A clean technical pass usually shows visible movement inside 30 days.
What about Core Web Vitals — are they really a ranking factor?
Yes — and increasingly so. Google has confirmed Core Web Vitals as a ranking signal. They're rarely the single reason a page ranks or doesn't, but they're a tiebreaker on competitive queries and they directly affect conversion rate. Worth fixing for both reasons.
My site is built on JavaScript — does that hurt SEO?
It can, if rendering isn't handled properly. Googlebot can render JavaScript but it's slow, expensive, and unreliable. Server-side rendering (SSR), static generation, or a prerender solution removes the risk. We audit the rendered DOM vs the user DOM on every JS-rendered site we touch.
Do you do migrations and replatforms?
Yes — CMS migrations, domain changes, HTTPS roll-outs, URL restructures. The work that destroys most rebuilds. We map every URL 1:1, flatten redirect chains, monitor through cut-over, and clean up at 30 / 60 / 90 days post-launch.
How much does technical SEO cost?
Start with the free SEO + AI Search Snapshot. We review the website, Google visibility, technical signals, AI search readiness, tracking and ad readiness, then recommend the next step: a focused technical SEO fix, a Webjuice Growth Matrix rebuild if the foundation is weak, or monthly growth. We scope cost after the snapshot.
