About the company
Background
Company GAZEBO – Exclusive garden gazebos was established in 2009. After years of experience and passion for woodwork, they have expanded their reach abroad. Webjuice worked with Gazebo since the beginning of 2017 and going six years strong. We are proud to say we have grown with Gazebo. During this time we changed three website designs and applied countless strategies. From SEO to drone videos, Gazebo is not only successful in Slovakia but has expanded to Austria and Hungary as well.
Understanding the Gazebo business
Challenge
To increase awareness and generate leads, the Gazebo website mainly relied on organic traffic. However, its website exhibited a year-over-year increase in traffic and organic visibility. In order to build a search-friendly website that would maximize visibility, enhance the user experience, and eventually increase site visits, Gazebo was confronted with modernizing the UX/UI experience year by year, optimizing the mobile experience, and refreshing current content. Our primary goal was to boost visibility on Google Maps Pack and SERP. We studied their competitors one by one and created an average density of word count and keywords to use. Our target was the highest volume traffic keywords on SERP and Google Maps.
- Strong brand story and brand presence
- Improve traffic and organic visibility
- Organic traffic increase through blogs
- Rank for top competitive keywords
- Show up for keywords searches relevant to your service
- Deliver leads through PPC advertising
Scaling from 0 to 300 visits per day
Our Strategy
Everyone is aware of the value of having a strong web design portfolio. You have the chance to display your creations to the world while maintaining complete control over every element, including the design, animations, navigation, and more. By doing so, you can influence how prospective clients or employers view and interact with your work. Our next challenge was to find strategies to improve the content’s optimization in four languages and target each audience, reduce bounce rates, lengthen dwell times, and boost organic CTR.
- Embedding YouTube on each product and category page
- Uncovering user intent and organizing the site’s content
- Create a URL strategy to take advantage of established value
- Remove and merge sections of the old website to support keyword strategy
- Post-website launch, SEO monitoring to fix issues
- Analyse Local SEO competitors and apply strategy
UX strategy
Our strategy for this client was simple – to create a beautiful website with colours in black and red like his logo. We did some research about competitors and other similar websites. After we came up with some ideas and draft designs in Adobe XD. The client gave us some changes and we started to develop the website in WordPress.
Build
We used the Astra theme and Elementor. The website is available in four languages: Slovak, English, German and Hungarian. The website contains four domains for each country. For this, we set up the WPML language plugin. Each domain is optimized with content for each country. For this, we hired translators in the four languages to write the right content with keywords.
Test and Launch
Our quality assurance team took the need seriously to thoroughly test the website. Every page and function on the website was reviewed twice to ensure that everything worked as it should. To provide a consistent user experience across devices, they also meticulously examined everything on a number of browsers and mobile devices in four languages. When everything was cleared to go, we published the new website and waited for Gazebo to rank the keywords and track the leads.
Scaling the Google ads, SEO and Local SEO in 3 countries
Results
We were able to take Gazebo’s outdated, cluttered, and confusing site (packed full of content) and transform it into a unified experience that conveys their narrative brilliantly, thanks to the efforts of everyone involved. The website is now properly laid out, simple to use, and offers user experience in four languages.

Google Ads (PPC)
The Gazebo is a manufacturer of pergolas and gazebos. Because of this, managing keyword lists and adding text for such a large and changing product catalogue proved to be challenging. Find out how the organization increased conversions by almost 600% by integrating Dynamic Search Ads with remarketing lists for search ads.
